Sleeping Beauty by blu-ish Sleeping Beauty by blu-ish
This photograph is my representation of the fairytale ´Sleeping beauty´. Sleep is a state of serenity, hence the white iluminated rose. Sleep is also the thin line between life and death.

In the fairytale the princess falls into a deep sleep, treading the fine line between life and death.

This is an interesting and unique take on the concept. Adding this to the fact that the shot is also very well constructed here, and you have a very good piece of work. Nice! :D

thanks a lot! I hope the concept got through, because I wondered if I should have made the fairytale connection a bit more clear...I'm definitely doing that next time. I'm thinking about doing a fairytale series... what say you? :D

I would be very interested to see a fairy tale series . I think without the title you wouldn't be able to tell it was fary tale inspired, but then that is what makes this shot so interesting. By giving it this specific title you create a new meaning for the shot. I say go for it! :D
